Mission Statement

Equipping kids to know, grow, and show God’s love by:

K – Knowing God and His Word
I – Involving in friendship and fellowship
D – Developing ministry gifts
S – Serving in the church and community

Our Mission

To meet children at their level of development, to teach them the love of Christ and the joy of His forgiveness and salvation, to help them learn the truth of His Word and to encourage their growth within the body of believers.

Our Vision

That Children will know Christ, understand His Word, grow in their own spiritual walk, and be able to share the love of Christ with others.

About

Home Church Kidsmin is the name of our Children’s Ministry and is led by a team of staff and volunteers whose passion is children and whose vision is to connect kiddos to God and to others! Our goal is to provide a fun and interactive program tailored just for kids, no matter what age or grade to help them know Jesus and grow spiritually as they build meaningful relationships with other children and adults

What To Expect

Our weekend services are designed with children in mind! Each child is taught in an age-appropriate environment. From Nursery to 5th grade, our desire is to see each child cared for in an individual way. Volunteers have been carefully screened to work with your child. From loving care in the Nursery to energetic fun in the Clubhouse, your child will be cared for and taught God’s Word in a safe, loving, and encouraging environment.

Special Needs

The heart of the Special Needs Ministry at Home Church is based on Jesus’ love for His children. All are welcome in our ministry. We offer a safe and fun place designed for all levels of needs. This allows the child’s parents/family time to worship while they spend their own special time with God. If needed, each attendee can be assigned his/her own buddy for the day. Our prayer is that each child will leave knowing Christ’s love while each family leaves knowing that there is a church home that will support and nurture each individual. We pray for spiritual growth for everyone. This includes allowing the parents of the special needs child to grow in Christ through worship and the hearing of the word of God with the knowledge that their child is being take care of in a safe and fun environment.

FIRST TIME VISITORS

First time visitors should contact our Children’s Pastor, Andrea Eddy,  using the link to let us prepare in advance for additional staffing or your family’s specific needs. Upon arrival to the church, please check in at the Connection Center. A ministry volunteer will meet you and take the child into the clubhouse or approved KidsMin class for the remainder of the service.
