There's a place for you here!
If you’ve been visiting Home Church for awhile and would like to become more active, consider membership. Membership at Home Church isn’t scary or complicated. It’s simple, really.
At Home Church, a member is someone who has committed to do four things:
Protect the unity of the church
Share the responsibility of the church
Serve the ministry of the church
Support the testimony of the Church
Take the next step
Here’s what it’ll look like:
Larry wants to sit down with just YOU – individuals, couples, just a couple of people at a time. He’ll explain some of our history looking backward, and vision looking forward, try to answer any questions you have about how the church operates and specifics about what we believe and teach. You won’t just get the “what” and the “how” we do what we do – you’ll get the “why”. We can tailor the meeting to your specific needs, questions, callings, ideas. We believe in 60-90 minutes you can really get a feel for where we’ve come from, where we are going, and how you can be a part of it.
At the end of the meeting, you can decide if membership is right for you. That’s a big commitment – but this isn’t… You don’t need to bring anything or prepare anything. Worst-case scenario, we can just get to know each other a little. Best-case – you start getting plugged in and seeing what God wants to do in you and through you at Home Church!
So, let us know what day/time works best for you. We will give you a call and get your meeting scheduled on Larry’s calendar.
**While we LOVE kids and Larry would be thrilled to meet yours, we ask that you not bring kiddos to this membership meeting.**
The difference between a church attender, and a church member, is commitment.
